Aerosoft Partners with Major Broadcasters to Televise All 51 Matches of Euro 2024 for Thai Fans
On June 12, 2024, at Building 17, Thairath TV Station, Aerosoft, together with its strategic partners, held a press conference to announce the live broadcasting rights for UEFA Euro 2024. The tournament will be aired across three major free-to-air channels: PPTV HD 36, Thairath TV 32, and 9 MCOT HD, covering all 51 matches throughout the competition.
The event was presided over by Mr. Komol Jungrungreangkit, Chairman of Summit Footwear Co., Ltd. (Aerosoft). He was joined by key industry executives, including Ms. Jitsupa Eatcharapol - Co-CEO of Thairath TV and Thairath Online; Mr. Pornchai Poonlamlert, Acting President of PPTV HD 36; and Mr. Phatiyuth Chaisawang, Acting President of MCOT Public Company Limited. As a gesture of goodwill, Aerosoft also distributed footwear to its media partners during the event.
Mr. Komol Juangroongruangkit revealed that Aerosoft’s primary goal is to bring the excitement of Euro 2024 to Thai fans through multiple accessible platforms. He emphasized that this private sector support would also have a positive ripple effect on the tourism industry.
“Aerosoft is committed to bringing Euro 2024 to Thai fans so they can enjoy the games through various channels. Our collaboration is a great step forward,” said Mr. Komol. He also expressed a heartfelt sentiment regarding the Thai national team: “Yesterday, it was a pity for the Thai national team to miss out by just one goal. We truly deserved to advance as it would have brought immense happiness to the entire country. Nevertheless, we move forward to cheer for Euro 2024, starting on the night of June 14 (early morning of June 15) with the opening match between Germany and Scotland.”
Specifically addressing the collaboration with Thairath TV, which will broadcast 7 matches, Mr. Komol praised the media group's comprehensive coverage. He noted that beyond the television channel, Thairath Online provides rapid and modern news updates which he follows closely, supported further by their traditional newspaper presence.
As a personal fan of the German national team, Mr. Komol expressed his delight in this partnership and shared his high hopes for the tournament. "I am very pleased to collaborate with Thairath for this broadcast. Personally, I am a fan of Germany and I hope they can secure the championship this year, especially with the advantage of being the host nation."
